THIS IS A FABULOUS OLD VINTAGE OIL PAINTING OF AN ELDERLY MAN PLAYING A VIOLIN THAT IS SIGNED AND DATED 1959.

The colors are beautiful and it is very well painted. This came out of an old storage unit.   It is painted on board.  It looks like it was removed from a frame at one time.  There is some fraying or paper loss along the edges.  The painting also has some scratches, paint loss, minor stains and wear.  It is signed what looks like F. Thurmaier, but I'm not sure.  It is painted after the works of John George Brown, and his popular painting, The Old Violinist.

Measurements are about 16" by 12".
