THIS IS A WONDERFUL OLD 1930'S ICE CREAM SCOOP OR SCOOPER THAT IS METAL WITH A WOOD HANDER AND A HARD TO FIND SMALLER SCOOP BOWL.

This was probably made by the Gilchrist Company, and was a popular soda fountain style.  It has a spring action thumb lever with a smooth operation.  This is a good quality piece.

 There is minor staining, discoloration, and wear. 

Measurements are about 10 1/2" long.  The scoop bowl is about 2" wide.
