THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST OLD ANTIQUE BREAD BOARD BREAD PLATES I HAVE SEEN IN A LONG TIME.  IT IS A RUSSIAN PIECE WITH CARVING AND EMBOSSED TEXT AND WORDS, AND FARMING TOOLS INCLUDING A SHEAF OF WHEAT AND SCYTHE THAT SYMBOLIZES BLESSING OF DAILY SUSTENANCE AND HOSPITALITY.

This is an older piece of good quality.  The words say something to the effect of "Eat Well for Good Health" in Russian.  There is minor paint loss, discoloration, minor scratches and wear.

Measurements are about 10" wide.
