THIS IS A LARGE OLD VINTAGE WHITE  IRONSTONE SQUARE SERVING DISH OR BOWL  WITH SCALLOPED CORNERS THAT IS THICK WITH STAINS  AND STAMPED JOHN EDWARDS, WARRENTED  IRONSTONE CHINA ON THE BOTTOM.

It is a hard to find large size that is thick and chunky and a little heavy. It has a scalloped rim in the corners, which is hard to find. There are stains, an old chip in one of the corners, as I show , minor dirt and wear. 

Measurements are about  9 1/2"  by 9" by 2 3/4" tall.
