THIS IS AN OLD VINTAGE ART NOUVEAU HEAVY FLUTED GLASS WITH EMBOSSED METAL BRASS LID TRINKET DRESSER OR VANITY JAR OR HAIR RECEIVER.

There is a little hole at the top of the metal lid, which I think might be the way it was made.  There is some paint loss on the glass bottom, where it met the lid.  There is minor dirt and minor paint loss and wear. 

Measurements are about 3 1/2" by 3 1/2".
