THIS IS AN ANTIQUE DATED 1881 SILVER PLATED METAL ROTATING BUTTER DISH WITH A COW ON THE BASE THAT IS BROKEN, AND CAN BE REPURPOSED AS A PLATEAU HOLDER.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE ROTATING LID IS BROKEN OFF, AS I SHOW. I AM SELLING THIS AS IT.
I show this as three pieces, and you can see the inside rim of the base, there is a broken piece. You can keep the lid off, and use for a stack of butter pats (not included), a candle, or a small plant. There is the adorable farmhouse cow at the bottom. At the top of the lid, it is engraved with someone's name, 2nd Prize, 1881. There is tarnish, discoloration and wear, along with the broken pieces mentioned above..
Measurements are about 8 1/2" tall to the top of the broken off lid by 6".
