THIS IS AN ANTIQUE DATED 1881 SILVER PLATED METAL PLATEAU HOLDER STAND WITH A COW ON THE BASE 

This is three pieces, with the top two pieces being broken, since it was originally was a rotating butter dish, but it no longer works like that.  You can keep the lid off, and use a candle, or a small plant.  There is the adorable farmhouse cow at the bottom.  At the top of the lid, it is engraved with someone's name, 2nd Prize, 1881. There is tarnish, discoloration and wear

Measurements are about 8 1/2" tall to the top of the broken off lid  by 6".  Itis 6" tall for just the bottom.
