THIS IS AN EXQUISITE LARGE OLD VINTAGE FRENCH BARBOLA GESSO TIE BACK WITH AN ETCHED MIRROR AND ORNATE DETAILING. This is a single tie back that is older and of good quality. It has a gorgeous shape with the most ornate detailing. It is wood with barbola gesso for the details. There is an urn with swags, flowers and a finial at the top. At the center is the gorgeous beveled mirror and thick etching that you can see, but not feel. It looks like the tips of the detailing on the sides was cut at one time, as I show. It has the old gold paint that is a little chippy and time worn. There are some old surface hairline cracks. It has the metal bracket at the back, if you want to use it as a tie back, or you can just set it in a vignette as an elegant decor piece. Measurements are about 7" tall by 5 1/2" for the front. The metal bracket is about 9" long.
